Privacy Policy
Effective 9 July 2026
AnyLearn ("we", "us") is operated by The Manufacturers. AnyLearn turns study material you provide into structured courses, lessons, and quizzes. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can delete it. It applies to the AnyLearn website and the AnyLearn Android app.
1. Information we collect
Account information. You sign in with Google. We receive and store your email address, your name, your profile picture URL, and the unique account identifier Google assigns to you. We never receive your Google password.
Study material you upload. Documents, notes, PDFs, slides, and any other files you choose to upload so that AnyLearn can generate a course from them. This material may contain personal information, so please upload only content you are comfortable processing under this policy.
Content you create. The courses, lessons, slides, quizzes, and exam results generated from your material, along with your study progress.
Technical data. Standard server logs kept for security and debugging, including IP address, browser or device type, and timestamps of requests.
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any data from your device beyond what is described above. We do not use advertising identifiers, and the app contains no ads or third-party analytics or tracking software.
2. How we use your information
We use your data to authenticate you, to generate courses and lessons from the material you upload, to save your progress across devices, to operate and secure the service, and to respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.
3. Third-party services we use
To provide AnyLearn we share limited data with the following processors, each acting on our instructions:
- Google Sign-In — authenticates you. Google provides us your basic profile information.
- OpenAI— content you upload, and text derived from it, is sent to OpenAI's API to generate lessons, quizzes, and search embeddings. Under OpenAI's API policy, this data is not used to train their models.
- Supabase — stores your uploaded files and application database. Files are held on servers in the Asia-Pacific (Tokyo) region.
- Vercel — hosts the AnyLearn web application.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or of The Manufacturers.
4. Content you choose to share
AnyLearn lets you publish a course so that other users can find and study it through the Discover section. If you publish a course, that course's generated content and your display name become visible to other users. Your email address and your original uploaded files are never made public. Publishing is always your choice, and you can unpublish a course at any time.
5. Data retention
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account exists. Uploaded source material is retained so that your courses continue to work and so the assistant can answer questions grounded in it. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes.
6. Deleting your data
You may delete individual courses and their source material at any time from within the app.
To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at mrifat46@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. We will delete your account, uploaded material, and generated content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records by law.
7. Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS, and data is encrypted at rest by our storage providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
8. Children
AnyLearn is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the address below to exercise these rights.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify you within the app.
